Baseline service terms for using Data Insight Out.

Using the service

You may use Data Insight Out only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the content, datasets, and published stories you upload or share through the platform.

Accounts and security

• Keep your login credentials confidential and use a strong password.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account unless caused by our failure to maintain reasonable security controls.
• Notify us promptly at support@datainsightout.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Customer content

You retain ownership of the datasets, charts, story copy, brand assets, and other content you upload to the service. By using Data Insight Out, you grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, store, back up, secure, transmit, and display that content to operate the product.

You must have the necessary rights and permissions to upload content and to share it with collaborators, viewers, or the public.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, or deceptive content.
• Do not attempt to bypass security controls, interfere with the service, or access other users’ workspaces without authorization.
• Do not use the service to distribute malware, scrape protected areas, or overload infrastructure.
• Do not publish personal or confidential data unless you have the right to do so and understand the consequences of sharing it.

Paid features and billing

Some workspace features may depend on an active paid plan. Where billing is enabled, subscriptions, checkout, and payment management are handled through Stripe. Taxes, renewals, cancellations, and plan changes will follow the checkout terms, workspace settings, and any separate commercial agreement that applies to your account.

AI-assisted features

If you use AI-assisted drafting or automation features, generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your specific use case. You remain responsible for reviewing and approving all generated text, story structure, and published output before sharing it.

Intellectual property

The Data Insight Out service, product design, software, branding, and related materials remain our property or the property of our licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of the service itself to you.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim implied warranties to the extent allowed by law, and we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections where they apply.
